About Görlach Besatzschmuck GmbH

The company Görlach Besatzschmuck GmbH, headquartered in Kaufbeuren, was established in 1947 by Olga Görlach and has firmly established itself on the gemstone and semi-manufactured textile market. After it was acquired by Horst Schöler Export and Großhandel in 1989, the distribution of rhinestones made of polished crystal was further expanded under the direction of the managing director Markus Schöler. As an alternative to high-priced and rare genuine gems, rhinestone serves as the basis for the wide palette of the widely diverse semi-finished products that are offered. For that reason, an increasing amount of renown companies that are active in the international fashion and textile industry appreciate our diverse assortment.

International distribution

As an official sales partner to the renown brands Blue Nil, Preciosa and Swarovski, we currently distribute up to 60,000 products including glass gemstones, rhinestone trimmings and buttons, clasped glass stones as well as stitch-on stones, rhinestone hot-fix stones and glass, synthetic and wax pearls. The successful marketing throughout the German-speaking and European regions was achieved through the establishment of the company Jogi Trading Ltd., Kowloon Bay Hong Kong, just six years later (1995). This marked a further mile stone in internationalising the company and positioning it on a rapidly growing Asian market.

Since September 2015, Görlach Besatzschmuck GmbH is the exclusive wholesale dealer for the products of the Chinese market leader Dongzhou.

Expansion of the site and assortment

With the acquisition of Josef Bergs GmbH & Co. KG in early 2016, our product portfolio was expanded by the segments metal and jewel findings and sew-on settings. The craft business was managed by several family generations until now and will be directed by Görlach Besatzschmuck henceforth. In the future, it will form an independent pillar for the manufacture of settings and trimmings for Blue Nil, Preciosa and Swarovski gemstones.

2020 AURORA Crystals is added as a new product brand. The AURORA crystals and applications are sourced from various global suppliers including own production in different countries. The unique combination of price and highest European quality standards is the result of years of experience in the global fashion markets and the exceptionally brilliant AURORA cut.

We place particular focus on the quality of our products. All products unfailingly combine technical precision and modern timeliness and are always oriented on the needs of our customers and our partners’ requirements. The constantly adapted product line and the various possibilities to apply the gemstones and semi-finished products leave little to be desired. Should something be lacking, however, our customer service will gladly discuss individual requests and share recommendations for proper finishing.
